The Low Carbon Vehicle 2010 is a ride and drive conference and exhibition. The is the events 3rd year and is dated from 15th-16th September 2010. This year the line up will also feature the all electric Nissan Leaf.

  • Honda's hydrogen fuel powered Clarity available on the 16th for ride and drive circuit
  • Jaguar Land Rover's Limo Green available to drive for the first time at LCV
  • Fuel Cell Taxi by Intelligent Energy - available on ride and drive circuit
  • Zytek's new eVito electric taxi will be used to ferry delegates to and fro
  • Vauxhall Ampera on display on the steering pad.
  • Hydrogen powered and CNG bus from Gas Bus Alliance of TruckGas UK Ltd on display on the steering pad

Speeches given during the event will be as follows-

  • The Rt Hon Philip Hammond MP Secretary of State for Transport will provide further clarification on the new government's approach to low carbon vehicles
  • Michael Hurwitz will present OLEV's perspective on plug in vehicles and infrastructure
  • Fleet operators such as Coca cola, Royal Mail, and TFL presenting their experiences on fleet carbon reduction.
  • Glen Schmidt, Head of MINI E Co-operation Projects The Mini E and BMW's approach to 'eletromobility'
  • SMMT chief executive, Paul Everitt, will talk about industry's efforts to keep the UK at the centre of the global low carbon agenda and a prime base for investment.
  • Presentations from International delegates on what is happening around the globe with regard to low carbon vehicle development and deployment.
