Ecovelocity Motoring Festival 2012

Following the successful launch of the UK’s first eco motor show Ecovelocity in 2011, the organisers of the ground-breaking show IGME have announced details for year two - the show will move from its inaugural launch location of Battersea Power Station to ExCeL, London and will run from May 10th through to the 13th 2012.


EcoVelocity 2012 will see car makers show their ever growing green car models including electric, hybrid and very low carbon derivitaves. The car makers will allow visitors to get up close and personal by offering test drives on a special test drive circuit.

The latest budget has just been announced. Most of these elements have been applied to the Comcar database and website, though the NICs in 2012/13 on the net pay calculator could be a few pounds out until we have worked how the new indexation method will work. Company car tax rates continue to tighten in 2013/14 following the pattern of recent years. Non-company car drivers will be pleased with the increase in Approved Mileage Allowance Payments rates.

So far we haven't uncovered any motoring changes from the Pre-Budget Report and previous announcements, other than the slowing down of the fuel duty increase and the new 5% rate for sub 76gCO2pkm cars.
