• Lexus has introduced the All-New LBX compact SUV, marking its smallest addition to their lineup thus far.

Built on the same platform as the Toyota Yaris Cross, the LBX presents a petrol-hybrid powertrain option. Similar to the Yaris Cross, the LBX uses the same 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol-hybrid engine, delivering 136PS to the front wheels, with a potential all-wheel-drive version planned for later release.

Pricing for the new All-New Lexus LBX starts at £29,995. Full pricing will be announced and formal customer orders will commence in early October, ahead of the first cars being delivered from March 2024 (from June 2024 for the Urban grade model).

  • Hyundai have this week revealed the All-New Hyundai SANTA FE.

The fifth-generation SANTA FE enhances the midsize SUV’s city-friendly, adventure-ready appeal with a class-leading, terrace-like living space made possible by its longer wheelbase and larger tailgate opening. The longer wheelbase also allows the new model to offer enhanced third-row seating.

“Since the first-generation SANTA FE’s debut 23 years ago, this iconic SUV has won the hearts of millions of customers around the world,” said Jaehoon Chang, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company. “The All-New Santa Fe’s bold and powerful identity, which encompasses the boundless outdoors and urban landscape, will establish an unrivaled presence in the mid-sized SUV market.”

The all-new SANTA FE will be available with two powertrain options, a 1.6-liter Turbocharged, or a petrol 1.6-liter Turbocharged Plug-in Hybrid.

UK technical and equipment specifications are to be confirmed ahead of the all-new model going on sale in the first half of 2024.
