• Nissan has confirmed UK pricing and full specifications for the sixth-generation Micra, now reborn as a fully electric supermini. Unveiled in May 2025, the all-new Micra marks a major step in Nissan’s electrification strategy and is the first of four new electric models due to arrive in the coming years.

Starting at £22,995, the entry-level Engage trim with a 40kWh battery offers a very competitive price point in the B-segment EV market. The 40kWh version now officially delivers 198 miles of range – an improvement of six miles over initial estimates – while the upgraded 52kWh battery model can travel up to 260 miles on a single charge, seven miles more than originally anticipated. These range gains were achieved without hardware changes, instead relying on clever aerodynamic refinements and system optimisation.

James Taylor, Managing Director of Nissan GB, commented: “Micra is the first of four new fully electric models to arrive on the Nissan line-up, and we are incredibly excited to be pricing it so competitively. Micra is a key strategic model for Nissan, and based on the positive reviews, exciting design, attractive price and class-leading product, I’m looking forward to seeing lots of new Micras on the road soon.”

The 52kWh model supports 100kW DC fast charging, while the 40kWh version handles up to 80kW, allowing a 15%–80% top-up in just 30 minutes. A heat pump comes as standard on both variants, as does battery thermal management, ensuring efficient charging and performance even in colder weather.

The order books for the all-new Micra open on 1 September 2025, with first deliveries expected before the end of the year.
