• Audi has revealed the third generation of its Q3 compact SUV, bringing a host of updates to one of its best-selling models. The latest version introduces refreshed styling, a more refined ride, and a significant boost in technology.

The new Q3 features digital Matrix LED headlights using micro-LED tech for adaptive, high-resolution lighting. Inside, the car inherits many digital systems from Audi’s larger models, including a fully digital cockpit and a range of driver assistance features aimed at improving safety and comfort.

Engine options include a 150PS mild-hybrid petrol, a 150PS diesel suited to long-distance driving, and a 272PS plug-in hybrid. The plug-in hybrid version gets a larger 25.7 kWh battery (net 19.7 kWh), allowing for up to 74 miles of electric-only driving in ideal conditions, and can charge at speeds of up to 50kW via DC fast charging.

The new Audi Q3 will go on sale in the UK in late summer. Orders for the petrol and diesel models open in July, with the plug-in hybrid available to order in August. Prices start at £38,300 for the TFSI petrol and £45,800 for the e-hybrid.
