• Honda has revealed the new Super-N, a compact electric vehicle designed to bring fun and character to everyday driving, with UK sales set to begin in July at a sub-£20,000 starting price

Blending retro inspiration with modern EV technology, the Super-N draws heavily from the iconic Honda City Turbo II. Its bold styling, wide stance, and sporty design cues aim to stand out in the growing small EV segment, while maintaining Honda’s focus on practicality and efficiency

The Super-N offers up to 199 miles of all-electric range in city driving, powered by a compact e-Axle producing between 47kW and 70kW. A standout feature is its “BOOST Mode,” which unlocks maximum power and pairs it with a simulated seven-speed gearbox and artificial engine sound to recreate a more engaging, traditional driving feel

Engineers have also tuned the suspension and chassis for improved handling, with testing carried out on both UK and Japanese roads. Despite its performance focus, Honda says the car remains well-suited to daily commutes and urban use

Inside, the Super-N features supportive seating, blue-accented styling inspired by its predecessor, and ambient lighting that shifts colour when BOOST Mode is activated. Buyers will also be able to personalise their cars with a range of colours, graphics, and optional two-tone finishes.

Michael Doyle, Head of Automobile at Honda UK, said the Super-N aims to bring the brand’s “joy of driving” to a wider audience, combining excitement with everyday usability in an affordable electric package.
