Mazda has confirmed that the All-New Mazda 6e will arrive in the UK this summer, with prices starting at £38,995 for the Takumi model and £39,995 for Takumi Plus.
Revealed at the 2025 Brussels Motor Show and already on sale in Europe, the Mazda6e marks a reinvention of the long-running Mazda 6 for the electric era. It combines sleek saloon proportions with hatchback practicality, alongside a premium interior and Mazda’s trademark focus on driving feel.
UK models will feature a single 78kWh LFP battery, simplifying the European line-up. This delivers a WLTP combined range of up to 348 miles, with 10–80% DC rapid charging in 24 minutes using a 195kW charger. Power comes from a 258ps rear-wheel-drive setup, enabling 0–62mph in 7.9 seconds and 290Nm of torque.
For the 2025/26 tax year, the BIK rate for zero-emission cars is just 3% and is set to rise gradually in future years but will remain far below equivalent internal-combustion cars with rates of up to ~37%.
Both Takumi and Takumi Plus models come generously equipped as standard, keeping pricing below £40,000 and positioning the Mazda6e as a strong contender in the D-segment electric fleet market.
Order books are now open, with first customer deliveries expected this summer. Later in 2025, Mazda will continue its EV expansion with the launch of the all-new Mazda CX-6e SUV in the UK.
